This internship assignment combines solid training with challenges and responsibilities to form the basis for a sustainable and rewarding career. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience and learn about the many opportunities in a multidisciplinary service company. We also have a variety of internship programmes outside the UK in Asia, Europe and the US. Our internships cover different fields at different European locations. These include (but are not limited to): internal audit, risk management, financial data services, discount operations, product control and market services, sales, real estate. The internship program is also open to final year students if you are staying to pursue a master`s degree. All candidates must be ambitious, resilient and energetic. You must show us that you are an autodidact with ambition and the willingness to get involved. Your academic performance is one of the ways we will judge you. We are very interested in considering students who want to gain experience in the financial sector, and you will need a formal internship contract (a tripartite agreement) with your school or university.
From day one, you`ll join a network of other interns/interns – a great opportunity to meet people in the same boat as you and build relationships right from the start. You will also carry out a team project to meet one of our strategic objectives. Throughout the program, you will meet our current graduates who will share their experiences with you. Our internship opportunities offer 6 months of asset management experience as an intern. This is a great way to gain specific knowledge and explore professional life in the industry. You will be part of a team in one of these areas and work on challenging and useful projects that add value to our business: our role is to manage Schroders` relationships with regulators (e.g. FCA & PRA), advise our colleagues on regulatory requirements and monitor our compliance. It is a global function that monitors Schroders` regulatory risk and reputation management policies and practices.
