Legal Seafood Keto

Legals is no longer good with 🙁 gluten-free. SO SAD! They`ve cut back on their menu, but while they say some fried seafood is GF, it`s not because they now offer fried beer batter in the same fryer. Roger Berkowitz should not have sold himself to this group of restaurants. Legals has spent years perfecting dough for fried seafood and GF rolls, specializing in allergies. It was clear that the GF rolls were not freshly cooked, they were reheated and very dry and hard – terrible. Your fryers are now contaminated with beer dough (please don`t go back to the 1990s!) I`ve been going to avocados for years, they were gluten-free when it wasn`t “popular”. They don`t even offer GF rice anymore. My favorite dish was the jasmine special, which can`t even be made anymore. Our waitress, who was GF, suggested I have a salad, really??? So extremely disappointed!! Fantastic seafood. They always have gluten-free fish n chips and gluten-free squid.

They have a special fryer. It`s not listed on the menu, but order the signature Fish n Chips gf and I didn`t get sick. Excellent service. I think it was ketones. The only thing you can`t have is beer whipped fish and chips. Some of the items are shrimp lettuce and popcorn shrimp (0g net carbs and 27g net carbs respectively). Here`s a short list of other keto options at Legal Sea Foods: Overall, I give this place a “meh.” I`ll start by saying that not only am I strictly GF, but I also don`t eat seafood. This has severely limited my options, but it`s not the restaurant`s fault. We decided to eat here based on the rave reviews, but I wasn`t impressed. There are so many better places in Boston. For example, I asked for a dedicated fryer regarding French fries and our waiter said they didn`t have one, which is contrary to other reviews. Our server was familiar with cross-contamination, which I really appreciated. To make my GF burger, they fried it in the pan and I didn`t get a bun. Not terrible, but again not great.

My non-GF husband was given an expensive scallop dish that was a very small portion. Phenomenal seafood! Tons of options clearly marked on the menu. They also have GF roles. I had the fisherman`s plate which was huge. He came with fish, scallops, shrimp and squid. They were able to make peppers and garlic in the “Rhode Island” style on the side for the squid. A must see if you are visiting or living in the area. Legal Sea Foods has more tasty foods that will keep you in ketosis. The keto diet is flexible enough to allow for all the delicious foods listed below. It was one of my places. Unfortunately, since they were purchased, this will no longer be the case.

I was offered to cook scallops, but I was too agitated. I will miss you, legal seafood. I have been here several times and I was satisfied every time! They have separate fryers and gluten-free sushi! Other legal seafood restaurants do not offer sushi. They have rolls, but not for the lobster roll. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful! Nice staff, bad GF DF options. They don`t have a GF menu or special fryer.

Everything is divided into the same fryer and the dough is made with buttermilk. By far my favorite restaurant in my area. As a celiac, I`m thrilled to have safe foods from a GF Frier, and the menu changes a bit here and there to offer a new trial cooking option. My partner loves it too! Her son is celiac best gluten free squid! Delicious food, and the son had no reaction at all.
