The Pro bono counsel program (CMLS-VAP) of Central Minnesota Legal Services in the Saint Cloud area covers court dates in Benton, Chisago, Isanti, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns and Todd counties. CMLS-VAP serves clients who may be outside of HR priorities or pose a conflict of interest for human resources lawyers.
Volunteers are eligible for FREE OR REDUCED CLE training, support resources and training materials, CLE credits for volunteering, access to ProJusticeMN.org, and reimbursement of travel, copying, telephone and postage expenses. CMLS-VAP offers malpractice insurance to cover pro bono lawyers. There are many ways to give something back to the MHA.
