With casual all-day dining on the first floor, festive meals, and cocktails on the second floor, Legal Harborside`s third floor and rooftop terrace offer smaller drinks and bites in a fun and lively atmosphere. Legal Harborside has received rave reviews from locals and tourists alike. The intriguing charm of this Seaport District structure, located on the edge of Boston Harbor, has not lost its luster in its second season, making it a difficult reservation to score points. Although all three floors offer their own special specialties, the third floor is the perfect place to enjoy the night. We went there on a Tuesday around 7:30pm with a small group of staff. We didn`t have any reservations, so we went to the terrace on the 3rd floor where seating comes first, first served. Excellent decision on our part. Wow, what a view. directly on the water. The downside – this terrace offers a limited menu with mostly sushi, so if you want more traditional legal dishes, you`ll have to eat at one of the other levels.
It`s best upstairs for drinks and appetizers. We all had the lobster roll ($24) that came with homemade fries. It was good, but not $24 good. Drink prices were a bit pricey. The view and atmosphere make the location on the port unique. Legal Sea Food`s flagship 20,000-square-foot property on Boston`s waterfront, consisting of three stories and three different concepts under one roof (retractable). You`ll find a nod to our heritage in the hull on the first floor, with a casual menu of favorite seafood with a twist twist, oyster bar, and market. Located in the Seaport neighborhood, Legal Sea Foods – Harborside is steps from the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, Leader Bank Pavilion, and hotels such as the Renaissance Boston Waterfront, Westin Waterfront, and Seaport. Jessica enjoys drinking and eating by the water, and often chooses her activities and places in the Seaport District, one of her favorite neighborhoods (especially in summer) of the city. Although food is served, floor 3 only offers a small selection of snacks, including sushi and divisible plates, but with long lines to get inside, you can easily see why many skip dinner downstairs and come here to nod sporadically throughout the night. Their impressive selection of wines by the glass (twenty-seven), specialty cocktails and pitchers of punch add to the allure. But make sure you arrive early and maybe even beat the crowd after work, because when night passes in the square, there are a lot of people and more people are turned away than climbing the stairs. “Everything is delicious here!
